DOMAS was selected, among all applications, to digitally support the Conference “Value and Recognition of Youth Work”, which happened in Zagreb, Croatia, from 4 to 7 December 2023. We were responsible for communication on social media (Instagram and Facebook), but also in creating the articles before and after the Conference, which tackle the topic of recognition in youth work.

The Conference was organised by Jugend fur Europa (German National Agency) and Agencija za mobilnost i programe EU (Croatian National Agency), with the aim of creating more recognition in the youth work sector. It also needs to be mentioned that this conference was a part of a larger process of recognition of youth work which we call the Boon Process. The Conference gathered around 90 participants and during the two days discussed the recognition aspect in youth work on all four levels: self-recognition, social recognition, political recognition and formal recognition. Participants have also created messages around recognition that will be shared on social media.
