New Erasmus+ project launched: InfluVET – Influencing Careers of VET Students

We are proud to announce the official start of our new Erasmus+ VET project “InfluVET: Influencing careers of VET students,” which aims to support young people in making informed career choices in the field of influencing.

InfluVET is implemented under the Erasmus+ VET: Key Action 2 – Cooperation Partnerships (Project number: 2024-1-HR01-KA220-VET-000246935). Over the next two years, the project will bring together partners, educators, and students to explore how influencing as a profession can be approached more critically, responsibly, and with a focus on young people’s competences and career development.

The project officially began with a kickoff meeting on 3rd December 2024, hosted online by DOMAS (Croatia) together with partners Outreach Hannover (Germany) and Center for non-formal education and life-long learning – CNELL (Serbia).

During the meeting, the partners:

  • got to know each other’s expertise in career counseling, influencing, and VET education,

  • reviewed the project’s timeline, milestones, and management procedures,

  • agreed on clear communication and financial protocols,

  • planned the next steps, focusing on educating VET students through innovative tools and workshops.

What is next for our project?

The first major output of the project will be the development of a Toolkit for VET students, designed to help them understand opportunities and challenges in the influencer career path. The Toolkit will be piloted in schools in Croatia, Germany, and Serbia, engaging at least 20 students per country. Their feedback will be used to improve the content before publishing it in four languages (English, Croatian, German, and Serbian).
