As a service providers for the Krapina-Zagorje County, we are implementing the series of round tables within the project “Novi Početak” (eng. New Beginning), with an aim to establish a shelter for women who are victims of (domestic) abuse.
Round table “Conflict divorce” was held on May 14, 2022 in the Main Hall of City of Klanjec. The aim of the round table was to inform experts about the about the characteristics of conflict divorces, the impact of parental conflict on children, and providing specific guidelines for counseling work with parents and children in conflict divorce.
During the round table, over 40 experts from social welfare centers and social welfare homes, experts from educational institutions, health institutions and civil society organizations had the opportunity to discuss how to act in cases of conflict divorces.
The round table was organised as part of the project ‘New beginning’, which was submitted to Call UP.02.2.11 ‘Ensuring a support system for women victims of violence and victims of domestic violence’, which is financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund as part of the Operational Program “Effective Human Resources 2014-2020”.
DOMAS was subcontracted to help in providing organisation support, which includes drafting the call, sending calls, organising the speakers/lecturers, ensuring smooth facilitation, and other practicalities. This round table was second from seven round tables which will be happening throughout 2022 and 2023.
